Been going through your work and I adore your coloring. You have that down, you're only problem really is anatomy. If you can get that down with a couple of references you work is gonna get even better. I do like the slightly darker nose in some works, but you don't want it to stand out too much to where it looks like they have a cold. A few things but hey no biggie you'll get that down easy! keep it up!

First time with coal? What did you use willow or hard pressed? I see white did you use white chalk/conte?

Yup, first time with coal. I used willow coal. That white part is some kind of crayon, which I found very difficult to use. I don't know my tools that well, as I did this for an art class, and the tools were provided and chosen for us :)
