To be fair, a lot of those pieces do command a fair few dollarz

Those are the bigger peices, and really more "professional" if that makes any sense. some of those are fukin HUGE. plus people with more money frequent there, so more money equals "museum/gallery" pricces. idk if that makes any sense.

Makes total sense, though I've only bought from a gallery once maybe twice my whole life, not many painted pieces either, mainly went after first run lithos, not the numbered hoity-toidy stuff either, but still plenty happy.

Could use a fixer... I got burned by a few artists here this year, and they haven't produced |:

galleries take between 30-60% of sales it's fuckign crazy and explains a lot of prices. it's never personal but ya gotta make a living somehow without looking like a shitty NYC artist who thinks they're mark rothko.

Just lurking your tumblr.. Alphonse looks a shit-ton like my cat, only mines hairier and more feminine lol, sorry he passed away last month, looked like a good cat.

he was an okay cat. We got him buy acident against our will, and he was a foofoo cat who was born sick. knocked shit down, pissed on some shit he couldn't catch mice. but one of our dogs loved his and the other male cat loved him too. they're okay now but i always wonder about peopel who say animals can't express mourning shit..
